The spiral is a powerful symbol that helps us to perceive our inner and outer evolution on Earth. In our world today, we are being led to simply go from A to B as we evolve. Best in a straight line. Behind this is the belief that we always remain the same, no matter what we do. The spiral is part of the wisdom of feminine energy, and makes us understand that our entire life wants to unfold as we move on a curved path toward our destination.
The spiral springs in the middle
The spiral starts in the middle at its starting point. That's the point where you are today. As you step on the path of development and embark on the natural unfolding of your life, you will be led along in a curved line.
It may seem that the Spiral Path will keep you going in the same places over and over again - but each time the Spiral has taken you to a new level.
Always the same - and yet something new
You can recognize this phenomenon in the seasons. The dance of the seasons keeps repeating, but every spring you are a different person. Spring is always coming back, but you experience it every time on a new level.
So the path of your development confronts you with similar topics on a regular basis and it may seem like something repeats itself - but you have arrived at a new level each time.
I decided to write a book
I got the potential to write a book last year. As soon as I brought the potential into my life, a deep process of change began in my work. Many areas of my life have to unfold so that my life can welcome a book.
If I had just sat down to write a book last summer, it would be there today, but it would not be successful. Because the landscape of my profession could not bear the success of a book - the foundation for it would not be laid.
The spiral way: Old energy wants to break away
Instead of fixing myself on my goal, I let myself in on the developmental path that arises by itself. In the last few months, many old burdens have been removed from my work - inner obligations and fears that I have carried around with me.
The spiral way: clarity wants to emerge
My development invites me to make my work clearer. I have made my individual sessions and all my offer much more precise. Slowly, the core of my work comes to light.
The spiral way: Everything wants to expand
The potential for my book has also invited me to create a new website for my work - that's what I'm working on right now. My presence on Facebook, my newsletter and, more generally, the fact that more and more visitors are coming to my website and getting to know my work are part of this development.
The spiral path: accept more support
Triggered by the development in my work, I felt that I needed new forms of support. So I was led to people who support me on my way. Several times a month I take coaching sessions to help me make my way easier.
The spiral path: wait for the right moment
I feel very clearly that not yet the right moment has come to start my book. At the moment I am working on other projects. However, I notice that every step of my journey brings me closer to my book.
Exercise: Use the wisdom of the spiral for your projects
You can use this exercise if you want to bring a project or a new creation into your life - or simply to understand your own development:
Take a piece of paper and a pen and draw a spiral. Connect with the earth. Connect with the sky above you. Close your eyes and turn your attention inside. Imagine you are at the starting point of the spiral. Realize the goal that you want to achieve, e.g. organize a seminar, write a book or make a trip.
First pass through the spiral
Follow the course of the spiral step by step with your imagination. From the starting point to your destination. As you follow this path, pay attention to the inner developmental steps involved in this path. You can perceive these developmental steps in the form of symbols. These are the inner steps that your development path involves. Enter the inner development steps on your sheet.
Second passage through the spiral
Follow the course of the spiral step by step with your imagination. From the starting point to your destination. This time you pay attention to the outer development steps that are on the way to your goal. You can perceive these developmental steps in the form of symbols. Take these outer steps that are part of your developmental path. Enter the outer development steps on your sheet.
Third pass through the spiral
Follow the course of the spiral step by step with your imagination. From the starting point to your destination. Take in your feelings as you go through the spiral. Watch as you change as you follow the path of the spiral. Watch for perceptions at the body level and how you feel when you reach your goal.
